Daphne and Peter were married in the April of 2023. We provided both Daphne’s bridal and and her bridesmaids gown.
We love the intimate vibes of their special day.
Here’s Daphne’s story …
“Being a second time around, mature bride, I was a little nervous about what I was going to wear for our wedding. From my first visit to the studio, I felt very comfortable and knew that Nadine was going to look after me and help me to look the best version of myself on my special day.
Nothing was a bother and she helped me to try on a few different styles until I found the one, and said “Yes, to the dress.” It was simple and elegant, and made me feel very special. We did have a minor hiccup when the lace for the dress became unavailable, but what could have been a disaster, was handled perfectly, Nadine came up with a plan and I got to have the dress I’d set my heart on.
Our wedding was intimate with about 50 family and friends. We had our ceremony, and reception at Flaxmere House which was stunning. We also stayed the night with close family and friends, and cooked and shared a big breakfast together the next day, which was an awesome way to round off the wedding. The wedding was relaxed and casual with the outside ceremony making the most of the beautiful scenery and weather which cleared for us after a week of rain. We were so lucky to be able to have it there, as the venue had been badly flooded in the February storm. Things were a little tense for a while wondering if the floors and painting would be done in time, but the
amazing team made it happen.
With all of the festivities happening at the venue everyone was relaxed and got into playing games and taking crazy photos in the Photo Booth. We still laugh now when we look at that album with all of our guests dressed up, making faces and being silly. Fun times!!! We had so many people who are dear to us there and our day was filled with genuine love – us for each other, but also our friends and family. We had some really beautiful moments and speeches that we will cherish for a very long time. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.”
