Deeva and Christopher were married in the February of 2023. We worked with Deeva to create the very first of our custom design gowns. The result was so stunning that we added it to our Designer Collection and gave Deeva the honour of name the style. It seemed only natural that she name the gown after herself.
Also, don’t forget to keep an eye out for the custom fingerless gloves that we also made for the bride.
Here’s Deeva’s story …
Nadine was amazing (and so was Gabby), she was so incredibly thoughtful and supportive of my ideas. I had shown her maybe 3-4 dresses for inspiration, each one with an aspect I wanted to take a feature from. Within the same week she had drawn a design out for me and it was even better than I had pictured in my head. She really took care of me, like a close friend I had known for years. She knew what would best suit me and what would feel comfortable, she even created these beautiful gloves for me which were quite last minute and still turned out so beautifully!
Our wedding day was everything we had ever dreamed of and more. Abel Estates had provided such a beautiful scenery- an endless garden with a stunning rotunda in the middle. We brought in family from all around the world and it was the best family reunion we could have ever asked for. It rained as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle, so I actually walked down the aisle twice- once outside in the slight shower and a second time inside the venue. They say it’s good luck when it rains in your wedding day! It felt way too short but our hearts were so full thanks to all our vendors!
